Attendees at the first ever international horse racing convention will have the chance to win a trip of a lifetime. Thanks to a sponsorship by the Hong Kong Jockey Club, a "Lucky Draw" sweepstakes will be held at Equestricon, in which someone will win a trip for two to the LONGINES Hong Kong International Races this December.
The ability to capture the greatest moments in horse racing history in words that will be encapsulated for generations to cherish is the everlasting gift that race callers give to the sport. The best race calls of all time are remembered almost equivalent to the performances of the actual champion race horses. The track announcer is tied to these legendary horses and races for years to come.

I worry that many assume since there are more women participating in the sport, there can't be any lingering barriers to their working in the business or becoming fans. I don't believe that's true.”
